Limited Warranty Policy
Coverage
K&K Canoe Accessories (“the Manufacturer”) warrants that all K&K-branded canoe accessories are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
What Is Covered
Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
Structural failure or cracking of molded or machined components during normal paddling use.
Replacement or repair, at K&K’s discretion, of defective parts or hardware.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic discoloration due to sun, saltwater, or UV exposure.
Damage from misuse, impact, modification, over-tightening, or improper installation.
Damage resulting from commercial, rental, or competitive use.
Products that have been altered, repaired, or combined with non-K&K components.
Remedy
If a defect covered by this warranty occurs, K&K Canoe Accessories will, at its discretion:
Repair the product,
Replace it with an equivalent item, or
Refund the original purchase price.
To obtain service, contact info@koakencanoe.com with proof of purchase, product details, and clear photos of the defect. The customer is responsible for shipping the product to K&K for inspection; repaired or replacement items will be returned at no cost.
Limitations
This limited warranty represents the full extent of K&K’s liability. K&K Canoe Accessories is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages, including loss of time, use, or performance. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusions or limitations of incidental damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Hawai’i, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
