If your are running an Insta360 X5™ don’t want to lose it forever into the water whether mounting it on your canoe or using it handheld, this retention case is a great solution.
The key is the ability to run a coiled safety laynard from the retention case to the Iako. If the cameral selfie-stick breaks anyhwere along the way, or the mounting system you have selected seperates from the Iako or the mount itself fails, you valuable action camera can still be quickly recovered.
If you are using the camear handheld (coaching, quick shots etc), attach your coiled safety lanyard to the case and then attach the other end to some secure point on your pack, PFD belt or canoe.
Rentention Case is made from TPU 64D which is weather, chemical, and UV resistant. It also offers a measure of shock protection along the exterior edges of the camera body if accidently dropped on an hard surface.
